Responsibilities:

Operate heavy trucks or tractor-trailers to transport goods over long distances Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods to their destination Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks and trip sheets Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical issues or incidents Adhere to safety procedures and practices
